A sweet little giraffe to build

Sitting up straight with its legs stretched out in front, this little giraffe is a real heart-melter: big shiny eyes, a cream muzzle, pink ears and two small brown horns. Its faceted paper style gives it a modern, graphic look.

Which paper should I use?
Thicker paper holds the folds better: 160 to 250 gsm in A4 suits most models. Ordinary printer paper (80 gsm) works for a trial run but warps more.
What else do I need to assemble it?
Glue, scissors or a craft knife, a ruler and a bone folder to score the folds before closing them. The essential equipment kit gathers glue, bone folder, ruler and cutter.
Do I need any special software?
No. The templates are PDF files: any PDF reader is enough to print them.
Can the cutting files be used with a machine?
The download contains SVG vector files, the format used by cutting software. Compatibility depends on your machine and its software.
Can the model be printed at another size?
Yes. Printing the templates larger or smaller changes the final dimensions in the same proportion. See how to change the scale.
