Getting a clean result from a printable template
Most assembly problems start at the printer. In the print dialog, choose “actual size” or 100% scale rather than “fit to page”: a scaled-down page shifts the tabs and the pieces stop matching across sheets. Score every fold line with an empty ballpoint pen or a bone folder along a metal ruler before cutting, because a scored fold stays straight while an unscored one drifts off the line. Apply a thin line of glue on each tab and hold it for a few seconds; closing a shape too early is the most common reason a seam pops open.
