Sometimes, all it takes is a few sheets of paper and a bit of patience to change your perspective. This freestanding 3D origami hot air balloon evokes the great early journeys, when taking the time to admire the world from above truly mattered. The finished model features generous dimensions: 500 mm in height, 338 mm in width and 161 mm in depth. A structured assembly, designed down to the finest detail
The build is divided into two main sections: the balloon, followed by the basket. The complete model is made up of 24 numbered pieces, assembled step by step using clear visual guidance. Each stage flows naturally into the next, making the experience both demanding and deeply rewarding.
The model uses 11 sheets across several colors: 7 red sheets, 3 white sheets and 1 brown sheet. This color selection adds depth and enhances the realistic look of the hot air balloon once completed.
