Before enlarging: what it really changes

A man with open arms, ready to welcome the eye

Arms spread wide, open posture, an almost human presence. This paper sculpture does more than occupy space: it invites. It evokes welcome, connection, generosity. Hung on a wall, placed in an entryway or installed in a transitional space, it draws attention and sparks curiosity.

Every fold tells a story. Each assembled piece gradually gives shape to a powerful, graphic silhouette that is surprisingly expressive. An ideal creation for those who love decorative objects with meaning, and for exploring the world of 3D origami wall art within the Interior decoration collection.

An immersive assembly experience

The model is built step by step by following a precise numbering system. It requires focus, a bit of patience… and delivers real satisfaction as the form comes to life. No expert skills required, although some prior experience working with paper is a real plus.

The template is available in two layouts: 34 A4 pages or 17 A3 pages. The number of elements remains the same: 77 pieces to assemble carefully for a clean, balanced result.

Technical specifications

  • Final height: approximately 1100 mm
  • Final width: approximately 1130 mm (outstretched arms)
  • Depth: approximately 210 mm
  • Number of pages: 34 A4 pages or 17 A3 pages
  • Number of pieces: 77 pieces

Color and customization

The model is designed to be made using a single paper color to enhance its graphic impact and readability. Sculptural white, deep black, mineral tones or bold colors - the choice is yours. This monochrome approach highlights the volumes, angles and posture of the figure.

The result: a strong, expressive wall sculpture that naturally fits into contemporary, artistic or architectural interiors.

This file couldn’t be more amazing. It was incredible for me to see how perfectly everything fit together. Sometimes, you can’t wrap your brain around the body part you are making and then somehow, it goes together like magic! I chose 250 g Majestic brand paper in light gold chameleon and I made the design backwards so the numbers don’t show because I wanted my paper choice to shine (the instructions for this are included in the file). I loved doing this and as others have said, it’s really addictive! Thank you for the impeccable file and the incredible work of art!

It is addictive.... It’s a good model. great descriptions and easy finishes. There are two options. Once a4 model and once a3. In the photo, I started small and I used the a4 model. A clear purchase recommendation. I used 200g paper

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the download?
You receive 3 PDF files.
How many sheets do I need to print?
The model has 34 template pages, that is the same number of A4 sheets printed on one side at the original scale. Printing it larger or smaller changes that number.
Which paper should I use?
Thicker paper holds the folds better: 160 to 250 gsm in A4 suits most models. Ordinary printer paper (80 gsm) works for a trial run but warps more.
What else do I need to assemble it?
Glue, scissors or a craft knife, a ruler and a bone folder to score the folds before closing them. The essential equipment kit gathers glue, bone folder, ruler and cutter.
Do I need any special software?
No. The templates are PDF files: any PDF reader is enough to print them.
Can the model be printed at another size?
Yes. Printing the templates larger or smaller changes the final dimensions in the same proportion. See how to change the scale.
When do I receive the files?
The download link is available as soon as the order is confirmed, with nothing shipped by post.
