Tribal spirit takes shape, sheet by sheet
Sometimes, it only takes one powerful object to transform the atmosphere of a room. This green African 3D papercraft mask does more than decorate a wall: it tells a story. A story inspired by traditional tribal art, reimagined through a contemporary geometric design with an almost sculptural presence.
Displayed in a living room, entryway or office, it immediately draws the eye. The volumes project from the wall, while the Low Poly lines shape a calm, almost meditative face. This is far from a simple DIY project: it is a true decorative statement, drawn from the world of 3D papercraft interior decoration.
A generous format designed to impress
Once assembled, the mask reveals balanced proportions: 350 mm in height, 256 mm in width and 215 mm in depth. Its pronounced relief plays beautifully with light and shadow, bringing the face to life from every angle.
The model is made up of 20 sheets to print, using 160 gsm minimum paper to ensure rigidity and crisp edges. Allow around 5 hours for assembly: the perfect amount of time to fully immerse yourself in the creative process.
A color palette that enhances character
Each shade has been carefully chosen to reinforce the mask’s identity and guide the assembly. The PDF template is organized by color for a smooth, intuitive build:
- Coffee – pages 1 to 2: for the mouth and chin, adding a warm, earthy expression.
- Black – page 3: used to accentuate the depth of the eyes.
- White – pages 4 to 6: graphic markings that create contrast and rhythm across the face.
- Green – pages 7 to 18: the dominant color, vibrant and organic, giving the mask its full strength.
Assembling this model is an invitation to slow down and enjoy the moment. You cut, fold, glue… and little by little, the mask comes to life. In the end, you gain the satisfaction of having created, with your own hands, a unique paper wall sculpture that blends art, travel and design.
