Gingerbread man and woman: the spirit of Christmas takes shape
A kitchen filled with the scent of cinnamon, bursts of laughter, and on the table, two silhouettes slowly come to life. The gingerbread man and woman don’t come out of the oven, but out of your hands. This 3D paper origami model turns a few sheets of paper into a warm, character-filled decoration, to display on a surface or mount on the wall, just as you like.
These two iconic characters naturally belong in our Christmas papercraft collection. Assembled at a relaxed pace, alone or together, they quickly become a creative ritual that signals the start of the festive season.
Two models, two personalities
The gingerbread man measures 35 cm in width, 40 cm in height, and about 5.9 cm in depth. His companion, the gingerbread woman, keeps the same width but stands slightly taller at 42.4 cm, with a depth of 6.5 cm. Together, they form a balanced duo that stands out without overwhelming your space.
Color play and assembly rhythm
The joy also comes from color. The man is mainly made from light brown paper (8 pages), enhanced with white (2 pages) and a touch of green (1 page). The woman adds variety with 7 pages of light brown, 3 pages of white, and 1 page of red. An optional back piece allows you, if you wish, to add extra light brown pages for a fully finished look.
With 11 pages for the man and 14 pages for the woman, assembly unfolds over several enjoyable hours. You cut, you fold, you glue. Shapes come together, the scene appears. And suddenly, the decoration tells a story.
A creation that lives in your decor
Placed on a piece of furniture, a shelf, or hung on the wall, this gingerbread duo brings a soft, festive presence. More than a simple object, it’s a moment of creation and a decoration that carries meaning, because you built it yourself, piece by piece.
