Bring a penguin family to life with your own hands
It all starts with a few sheets of paper and precise folds… and before you know it, a 3D origami penguin family begins to take shape. The larger model leads the way with a proud, majestic stance, while the smaller one nestles right beside it. Together, they create a tender, almost lifelike scene that naturally fits on a shelf, a desk, or in a child’s bedroom.
This model was designed as much for the joy of building as for the final result. Each piece connects logically, each volume reveals itself little by little. It’s an ideal activity to introduce younger builders or to share a meaningful creative moment around 3D origami for children, without ever leaving adults behind.
Two models, two distinct presences
The set includes two complementary penguins. Penguin 1 stands tall with 46 cm in height, 26 cm in width, and 20 cm in depth. It is made up of 11 pages and 31 pieces. By its side, Penguin 2 focuses on a more compact silhouette: 25 cm in height, 16 cm in width, and 14 cm in depth, spread across 7 pages and 22 pieces.
Color contrasts and assembly flow
The assembly alternates colors to add depth and character to the models. Penguin 1 uses 9 blue pages and 2 white pages. Penguin 2 is built from 5 blue pages and 2 white pages. This contrast naturally guides the build process and enhances the readability of the shapes.
With a medium difficulty level, the project remains accessible while delivering a real sense of accomplishment. You move step by step, watch the silhouettes come to life… and can’t wait to place the final piece to admire the complete penguin family.
