A hanging sloth, time standing still
There it is, calmly clinging to its branch, unbothered by the world. This 3D origami sloth takes shape sheet by sheet, gradually becoming a soft, graphic presence in your interior. A polygonal silhouette that invites you to slow down, enjoy precise handwork, and build without rushing.
The finished model stands 32 cm tall, 46 cm wide and 42 cm deep. Large enough to draw attention, yet refined enough to blend seamlessly into a contemporary décor. A piece that catches the eye… and stays with you for years.
Two complementary creations in a single model
This project brings together two distinct yet inseparable elements. On one side, the sloth, made up of 17 pages totaling 51 pieces, designed in natural shades combining white and brown. On the other, its branch, more elongated, providing balance and staging: 4 pages for 11 pieces, with a pronounced wood-like finish.
Once assembled, the tree measures approximately 18 cm in height, 20 cm in width, and up to 80 cm in depth. Together, the duo feels like a small suspended scene, almost alive.
A creative, accessible, and rewarding project
The assembly follows a clear process: cutting, mountain and valley folds, part identification, and progressive gluing. The difficulty level is intermediate, ideal if you enjoy taking your time and watching the form slowly emerge. Expect several hours of building, paced by short and satisfying steps.
